Cross-Selling & Upselling
BigCommerce provides the industry-standard cross- and upsell blocks on product detail pages. These are most frequently seen presented as "Similar Products", "Related Products", "You Might Also Be Interested In", "Customers Also Viewed", and "Frequently Bought Together".
Fundamentally, this is the same block regardless of how a merchant chooses to present it to the customer. The block title can be altered in the template to accommodate change in nomenclature. Additionally, merchants have the flexibility to either manually select which products to populate on a given PDP or allow for automatic population by the system. Each provides its own benefits.
The settings can differ from product to product, all able to be managed on the admin product edit page.
